Hosting a Prayer Tent
You could gather with a group out in a local park and offer community members prayer. We loved this idea from Jodie Hughes' of Pour it out ministries, where they used a tent that said "need prayer?"
You could do this as part of the NDOPF or any day of the year!
What an amazing way to create a Godly presence in your local community.
Please note some areas may require permission from the police and council/ shire area
Hosting a Bible Reading Marathon
Hosting a bible reading marathon is a great way to release the power and presence of God over a city or region.
To host a bible reading marathon, first establish an area or location to host the event. Then, invite others to join in reading the bible out loud. Create a roster so people can take it in turns to read. Make sure to provide comfortable seating and snacks. Take breaks as needed. Finally, commit to praying over the city throughout the duration of the event.
