Chairman and Leadership Elder

Commissioner James Condon has been an Officer / Minister of The Salvation Army for more than 52 years. He has served in a variety of leadership roles in three countries: Australia, Papua New Guinea and the United Kingdom.
He has served as an Officer (ordained minister) of The Salvation Army at Corps (local churches) and at the Headquarters of The Salvation Army in various
responsibilities including Public Relations, Fundraising, Administrative and spiritual
leadership.
On 2nd April, 2011, James was appointed Commissioner for the Australia Eastern Territory which covered the States of New South Wales and Queensland as well as the ACT. This involved some 400 centres of The Salvation Army, with 1,000 Officers of The Salvation Army (ministers of religion) and 4,000 employees.
He is an active member of Rotary International, having joined in 1972. He is married to Jan who has shared in these areas of responsibilities as well as having separate appointments. They have two daughters and have four grandchildren. James loves
spending time with his family.
Since retiring on 1st June 2016, James has continued his service to God in a variety of ways including holding the following positions:

- Chairman of the Bible League for Australia & New Zealand,

- Chairman of the National Day of Prayer and Fasting – now Australia Prays,

- President of Caloundra Rotary Club,

- Chairman of Caloundra City Pastor’s network, and - - Pastoral Care Coordinator for the local congregation of The Salvation Army Caloundra.

Vice Chairman and Leadership Elder

Wesley Leake is the founder of Business Blessings; he is an accountant and business trainer/coach/spiritual leader based in Brisbane, QLD. Wesley’s passion is to see Kingdom businesses raised up, established and supported in Australia and worldwide. He is very conscious that a new day has dawned in terms of God’s people being equipped to serve him in the marketplace. He is married to Pam and they have four children.​​​​

SHIREE LIND

Leadership Elder

Shiree leads the Australian House of Prayer for all Nations.  She is passionate about empowering people to draw closer to God by teaching them to walk with Him in every aspect of their life. She has been involved in Youth With A Mission (YWAM), an international movement dedicated to knowing God and making Him known, for over 30 years. She is qualified in leadership development, discipleship, children and youth work, worship and prayer.

Shiree loves the nations and, together with her husband Ray, travels regularly to train and mentor people in various countries. Shiree and Ray have four children and four grandchildren.

MIKE HEY

Leadership Elder 

Mike started on mission in India with Operation Mobilisation in the 1970s and 80’s. He and his wife Ann encountered the power of the gospel among Hindus and Muslims and grew personally working alongside Indian Christian leaders. 

 

For ten years Mike served as the on board Director of the OM ships MV Doulos and later the MV Logos Hope.

 

 Mike was led in 2010 to accept an invitation to take up leadership oversight of OM in 20 East Asia Pacific nations. Then in 2020 began to serve as a mission and leadership mentor with OM to see vibrant communities of Jesus followers among the least reached.

 

Mike and Ann also serve with a church planting team working in the northern suburbs of Adelaide.

 

They have a passion for a daily fresh work of the Holy Spirit and for faith to be expressed authentically in the realities of living in Australia and in serving leaders in in other parts of the world.

 

Mike and Ann seek to encourage everyday followers of Jesus to rest in him, walking together in prayer , walking to bless Australia and make disciples of all nations.

 

Mike and Ann have three daughters. Two daughters are married and they have six grandchildren.

Leadership Elder

Len and his wife Helen have been involved in active ministry for 33 years. After many years as a Senior Leader, in 2015, Len stepped into a new role of establishing and facilitating a house of prayer for the Gold Coast.

​

Helen and Len served for some 20 years as the Gold Coast Regional Co-Ordinators for the Australian Prayer Network.

​

Len is part of the planning team of the Gold Coast Pastors Roundtable, working with the Mayor, towards bringing the church of the city together for city impact. He leads a planning team for the GC Annual Pastors Retreat.

Helen and Len enjoy a close bond with their family and daily marvel at the gift of God’s grace in their 11 grandchildren.

NDOP Regional Victoria Coordinator

​Winnie migrated to Australia with her family over 30 years ago.
She loves investing in lives through prayer and other practical avenues, and loves seeing the lost saved .
Winnie has seen lives transformed and miracles take place through the power of our Lord through prayer and is blessed to be a part of various prayer teams to bring encouragement and our Lord's purposes to pass. Winnie has been supporting the National Day of Prayer since 2021 as the Victorian Regional Coordinator.

NDOP Western Australia Coordinator

​

​Anjali has been serving the National Day of Prayer for several years. Anjali has a passion for mobilizing and encouraging the body of Christ to pray. Outside of her role with the NDOP she supports Jason Hubbard's ministry (International Prayer Connect) and has travelled internationally on prayer assignments, training and equipping others to pray. Anjali has developed a wonderful network of pastors and prayer leaders right across Western Australia and continues to build these connections.

NDOP Australian Capital Territory Coordinator​​

Jamie Van Heel has been serving the National Day of Prayer for over ten years.  He has a passion for strategic thinking, prayer and spiritual health. Jamie has been developing a network of pastors and ministry leaders in Canberra. Jamie also oversees the Military Christian Fellowship for the Pacific and is a Lieutenant Colonel working for the Religious Advisory Committe to the Armed Services.

NDOP New South Wales Coordinator

​

Anna works with New Expressions, Salvation Army to host a Community Table for those unfamiliar with attending church and understanding God's love, grace and mercy for them on the Central Coast in NSW. She is part of the prayer team of Rahab Ministry Outreach in Gosford and other prayer initiatives. She also supports Impact Nations and Jubilee Church outreach into other nations.

 

Anna strongly believes in the power of prayer and is part of OneChurch Central Coast prayer team that meets weekly under New Expressions but represents several churches that come together to pray as one united body. This got Anna involved with the local NDOP multi-church gathering that led her to take on the role for NSW from late 2022 to support churches that are passionate in hosting the NDOP in their region.

​Rodney Hall is a small business owner and operator in Adelaide South Australia.Married to Ruth for 45 years, they have 4 adult children and 4 grandchildren.

Rod loves to encourage others to find a safe haven in The Almighty (God) as we commit to God in prayer. He has been a volunteer with Canberra Declaration, NDOPF and Australia Prays for over 10 years.

NDOP Coordinator - Melbourne, Victoria.

Rabi has been worshiping at Waverley Baptist Church for nearly 40 years and leads bible studies, convenes weekly and monthly prayer gatherings, hosts the annual NDOP and leads the Healing Ministry. Being passionate to see churches gathering and praying in unity, he has been coordinating the NDOP for over ten years.

​

ALICE WONG

NDOP South Australia Coordinator

​Alice was called from Malaysia to Australia to interceded for the nation. She currently co -leads a ministry called "In Christ Prayer and Worship" a group gathering in various locations three times daily to pray for community, salvations and what ever else God puts on their heart, they also gather regularly for more extensive prayer and fasting. Alice has a passion to see South Australia tranformed by the gospel and this lead her to begin volunteering with the NDOP in 2022. Alice desires to know the holy spirit intimately and to see him transform her heart, family and community around her.

NDOP Queensland Regional Coordinator

Jean has a heart to see the body of Christ walking together in Unity. Outside of her role with he NDOP she works with a network of pastors and leaders through out the Cairns region, developing opportunties to pray together regularly. She has been involved with the NDOP since 2017 and has completed the "Watchman school of Prayer level 3" with the Australian Prayer Network.
